I coded 7-8 hours with AI for 5 months With no cheat days. I got hooked when I got my first "aha" moment. I tested: - v0 - bolt - replit - cursor - lovable - create AI - windsurf - Softgen AI Here're my honest Rankings for you: Most Stable AI Tool: Cursor Score 8/10 Cursor is the BEST IDE for AI coding. It can help you create complex applications. The recent improvements in context understanding and Agent, are really good. NOT beginner friendly tho. --- Most Innovative AI Tool: Windsurf Score 7.5/10 As compared to Cursor, Windsurf is user friendly and cheap. It's Cascade feature is getting better from last 1 month. Still needs some work on implementation of code. But I can see in next few months this might takeover Cursor. --- Most User Friendly AI Tool: Bolt Score: 7/10 Bolt is the easiest to setup AI tool. With 2 clicks you have all packages installed. Built-in integration with supabase and netlify is good. Last time I reviewed, bolt was burning tokens aggressively, but now they've refined their UX really well. Still work required in error handling. --- Most Versatile Browser Based AI tool: Lovable Score 6.5/10 Lovable is competing with neck-to-neck with bolt. Their error handling is alot better than bolt. Overall UI is clean. After they integrated Supabase, stripe and resend now it is turning out to be a good beginner friendly AI tool. Still work required when codebase gets bigger. Struggles with Complex apps. --- Best UI Designing AI tool: v0 Score 8/10 (only for its UI design capabilities) I still use a mix of v0 + Cursor/windsurf to code any new UI screen. v0 is still getting better at full stack apps (4/10 there) but to design individual UI components/screens v0 is the best. Design pop ups, screens, effects etc --- Emerging AI tools that are good: 1. Softgen AI 2. Create xyz Softgen is similar to bolt or lovable but it works with firebase instead of supabase and I'm impressed by its integration. Also screenshot to design capabilities are good. Create xyz also impressed me with its modern design capabilities: especially for landing pages. UI looks clean. Good for tiny apps and websites. Bottomline: I can surely say that: You can code anything with AI if you know how to talk to AI models. Without writing a single line of code myself I built 33 projects in total. 9 for learning 11 for myself 13 for clients all by using these tools above. So if you're still not starting to build software, that's not a skill issue, that's procrastination. But here's a good news, If you have @CodeGuidedev Yearly Membership. You can get Exclusive Discounts on: - @boltdotnew β†’ 15% OFF on all plans for 6 months - @windsurf_ai β†’ 90 Day free PRO Plan - @lovable_dev β†’ 20% OFF on all plans for 6 months - @create_xyz β†’ 25% OFF on all plans for 6 months - @SoftgenAI β†’ 20% OFF on all plans for 6 months Utilize these amazing coding tools to build web apps, mobile apps, AI agents and monetize them. The window of opportunity is shrining with each passing week. Let's take action. Next i'll be testing: - Cline - Aider - FactoryAI - GPTEngineer and more tools. Peace. CJ

Here's the Master Trick to work with Cursor and Windsurf. It will remove 80% of AI hallucinations and 60% less code errors. You need to create a 'Documentation" folder in the root directory. Then you need to attach all your project docs to that folder Let me explain....

Why This Post Performed Well

This post did well because it taps into a couple of key psychological and market dynamics. First, it offers a "Master Trick," which instantly grabs attention. People love shortcuts and hacks, especially when it comes to complex topics like AI. The promise of reducing "80% of AI hallucinations" and "60% less code errors" is a powerful hook. It appeals to the desire for efficiency and reliability, two things that are highly valued in tech circles. The post also uses specific numbers, which adds credibility and makes the claims feel more tangible. By mentioning "Cursor and Windsurf," it targets a niche audience, likely those who are already familiar with these tools. This creates a sense of exclusivity and insider knowledge. Finally, the promise to "let me explain" suggests that there's more valuable information coming, encouraging engagement and curiosity. Overall, it's a well-crafted post that combines a strong hook with promises of practical benefits.
