Before he was a revered humanitarian leader, @SriSri was a gifted child. By the age of four, he was able to recite the Bhagavad Gita, an ancient Sanskrit scripture, and was often found in meditation. In 1997 Gurudev founded The Art of Living as an international, non-profit, educational and humanitarian organization. Gurudev has grown to play vital roles. in peace negotiations globally. He’s had a profound impact across the globe. Across India, He’s helped build 62,000 toilets, 3,819 homes, 1,200 bore-wells and 1,000 bio-gas plants. Over 82,000 children are given free education in over 1096 schools in rural and tribal areas of India. It doesn't stop there. In the US, over 120,000 students and more than 2,300 teachers have participated in the YES for Schools program in 225 schools. This lead to to happy and mindful campus communities.
